CSUSB Recreational Sports Outdoors

CSUSB Outdoors provides the campus community with outdoor recreational and educational opportunities, incorporating a "Leave No Trace" ethic and teaching cultural/historical knowledge about the areas they visit.

Student Organizations

Coyote Green

Founded in April 2013, Coyote Green is a California State University San Bernardino student organization for the promotion of sustainable living, policy, and practices on our campuses and in our communities. We encourage students from all academic interests to join!

Student Association of Geography and Environmental Studies (S.A.G.E.S.)

This registered student organization promotes geographic and environmental awareness around campus and in our communities through providing a forum for student interest, organizing outreach activities and field trips, and participating in professional and academic conferences.


PowerSave Campus

The Alliance to Save Energy PowerSave Campus Program provides paid student internships working with campus stakeholders to promote energy efficiency through conservation projects, awareness education, academic infusion, and developing career opportunities.

Watershed Management Internship Program

The Water Resources Institute (WRI) provides paid internships funded by the USDA Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service (CSREES) for Hispanic Serving Institutions, to address issues in the Santa Ana watershed.

GIS Training for (STEM) Majors

The Water Resources Institute (WRI) has received a Minority Science and Engineering Improvement Program Grant from the US Department of Education to provide internships, stipends, and training and mentoring in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) majors.


The Leonard Transportation Center offers scholarships for students at CSUSB who wish to do research in transportation or pursue a career in a transportation related field.
